At Moreton Morrell C of E Primary School we recognise that all pupils are entitled to have access to a broad range of learning experiences which allow them to develop their knowledge, understanding, skills and attitudes necessary to be life long learners.
Our curriculum aims to provide opportunities or all pupils to learn and to achieve, irrespective of their social background, culture, race, gender, differences in abilities and disabilities.
The Moreton Morrell Curriculum
The Moreton Morrell Curriculum has been designed by those delivering it, to reflect the school's local context and the needs of our pupils. The curriculum has been coherently sequenced and planned so skills and knowledge build on what has been taught before, ensuring that key knowledge is transferred to the long term memory in a sequential way. The curriculum is enhanced through educational visits and visitors, giving all pupils, including those disadvantaged, 'memorable experiences' and opportunities that inspire and motivate. This includes annual trips to Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Warwick Art Centre, Lunt Roman Fort, Stratford Butterfly Farm, Birmingham Sea Life Centre, Camp Night and a Residential trip to Manor Adventure. Creativity is further enhanced by the close partnerships with local organisations such as the church, Real Tennis Club and Moreton Morrell Further Education College.

The school has developed a programme called 'Fantastic Futures', which aims to motivate and inspire pupils to raise their aspirations and become ambitious about their futures. The children have an opportunity to ask questions to a extensive range of visitors about aspects of their jobs, they also get to experience a taste of work life linked to the local area. This year the children will be experiencing life on a Stud Farm!
