We aim to give parents and carers as much information as possible about what their children will be learning whilst at school. We hope to share how the children are taught so that parents can support the school in a consistent way. Each academic year we have a ‘New to Year Group’ meeting’, to share what the children will be learning and how they will be taught.
We also aim to have a termly ‘Book Look’ for parents and carers to visit their children’s classrooms, look at their books, and their displayed work.
We host two parents evenings each academic year; one in the Autumn term and the other in Spring term. Once per year in the Summer term parents and carers will receive a written report for their child including teacher comments, attainment, any relevant statutory testing results, and an overview of attendance.
