Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Moreton Morrell C of E Primary School

On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I would like to warmly welcome you to Moreton Morrell Church of England Primary School.

We hope that our website will give you a flavour of what life is like at Moreton Morrell School. We aim to nurture our pupil’s talents and abilities, providing opportunities for each child to reach their full potential and to be happy, confident, resilient and enthusiastic learners.

We are a welcoming, inclusive school set in the heart of the rural community of Moreton Morrell. We fully understand the importance of working in partnership with parents for the best outcomes of children and we actively encourage parental involvement in children’s learning, as well as fostering opportunities for the pupils themselves to be actively involved and take pride in their own learning.

Our vision is to develop an excellent school that serves the local community. We have close links to the local church and work in partnership with Rev. Lynda Lillie to ensure that the Christian values of love, hope, compassion, perseverance and forgiveness are evident in everything that we do.

We ensure that every child is treated as an individual and that their gifts and talents are recognised and their achievements celebrated. Through nurturing our pupils, both academically and spiritually, we aim to provide them with secure foundations for life, so that they leave Moreton Morrell School with an excellent all-round education, a love of learning and the ability to recognise and celebrate their own talents and strengths.

As Headteacher, I feel privileged to be leading the school and to be working with such a motivated and talented group of pupils, staff and governors. We are often praised for the excellent behaviour of our pupils and for the warm welcome that visitors receive. Visits to our school are encouraged so that you are able to sample for yourself life at Moreton Morrell C of E Primary.
